What’s riverboarding? It’s a hands-on-in-your-face kind of whitewater adventure. For thrill-seekers where riding the rapid isn’t enough, riverboarding puts you in the rapids, surfing the current downstream as you catch the swirls, boils, and waves on a specially designed bodyboard across class 2-3 rapids.
Riverboarding is a totally unique style of whitewater river running, an experience only offered at Canadian Rockies Rafting! Our highly trained guides will be with you the entire way, offering support and river knowledge. This half-day experience is an advanced adventure for thrill-seekers aged 14 and up with confident swimming skills and weighing a minimum of 90lbs.
We will give you all the river gear you need including wetsuit, river boots, mittens, life jacket, helmet, and riverboard. All you need to bring is a bathing suit and lots of energy!
Don’t forget to show your friends! Our photographer will be on site taking action photos of your rafting adventure, which will be available for purchase under ‘Photos’ 24-48 hours after your trip.
This river trip is 2.5-3 hours start to finish (3-4 hours with free transport option), approx. 1-1.5 hours on the river. Free transportation is provided from Canmore. Ask our team about discounted rates for groups of 10 or more!
