What’s riverboarding? It’s a hands-on-in-your-face kind of whitewater adventure. For thrill-seekers where riding the rapid isn’t enough, riverboarding, also called river surfing, is certainly the right adventure! It puts you in the rapids, surfing the current downstream as you catch the swirls, boils, and waves on a specially designed riverboard. You will go down the class 2-3 rapids of the Kananaskis River.
Riverboarding is a totally unique style of whitewater river running. This is in fact an experience only offered at Canadian Rockies Rafting! Our highly trained guides will be with you the entire way, offering support and river knowledge. This half-day experience is an advanced adventure for thrill-seekers. Because of the advanced nature of the tour, participants must be aged 14 and up with confident swimming skills and weighing a minimum of 90lbs.
