6:40pm - The Bow River offers excellent opportunities to view beaver, elk, osprey, eagles and more! Enjoy close up views of the Three Sisters Mountain and some of the tallest peaks in the Rockies Front Range.

Our Bow River Nature Float Tour is specially designed for wildlife viewing; taking place daily at dawn and dusk. It’s perfect for everyone looking to relax and enjoy the scenery, families too,¬†with little ones as young as four years old welcome aboard! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a gentle float tour down the magnificent Bow River while our knowledgeable river guides interpret the local flora and fauna and share stories of this wild landscape and its local history.

Located just east of Banff National Park, the Bow River offers excellent opportunities to view beaver, elk, osprey, eagles and more. On our morning tour, you may spot a mother elk and her calf drinking at the water’s edge while evening tours offer striking, alpine lighting and increased beaver activity. As you float through the quiet channels from Canmore to Dead Man’s Flats you will also experience picture-perfect views of the Three Sisters and Pigeon Mountain. This is a must-have experience if you want to get up close with the Canadian Rockies!

This float tour is approx. 1.5 hours on the river. Transportation is provided from Banff and Canmore (restrictions apply). Book as a group and save. Great for tour companies and family outings. We have great options to make tours exclusive and work to your schedule!
