As we meander through the channels towards the hamlet of Dead Man's Flats, the secluded nature provides excellent opportunities to view beaver, elk, osprey, eagles and more! Your guide will share stories and tales of local history and geological events.

Our Bow River Nature Float Tours are specially designed for wildlife viewing; taking place daily at dusk. It’s without a doubt perfect for everyone looking to relax and enjoy the scenery. Families with little ones as young as four years old are welcome aboard! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a gentle float tour down the magnificent Bow River while our knowledgeable river guides interpret the local flora and fauna and share stories of this wild landscape and its local history.

Located just east of Banff National Park, the Bow River offers excellent opportunities to view beaver, elk, osprey, as well as eagles, and more.

Our one (1) hour Town Float Tours take you through the town of Canmore. You may spot a mother elk together with her calf drinking at the water’s edge or grazing in the adjacent meadow. You might see an Osprey overhead on the hunt for its dinner. See the surrounding peaks of the Three Sisters, Miner’s Peak, and East End of Rundle. Then take a look behind you to the west and you’ll see Cascade Mountain.

Our one and a half (1.5) hour evening tours offer striking, alpine lighting and increased beaver activity.  As you float through the quiet channels from Canmore to Dead Man’s Flats you will also experience picture-perfect views of the Three Sisters and Pigeon Mountain.  You may even spot bears and deer on the banks of this placid section of the Bow River.
