As we meander through the channels towards the hamlet of Dead Man's Flats, the secluded nature provides excellent opportunities to view beaver, elk, osprey, eagles and more! Your guide will share stories and tales of local history and geological events.

Taking place daily at dusk, our Bow River Nature Float Tours are specially designed for taking in the spectacular scenery and for wildlife viewing. A relaxing and gentle float down the Bow river, this tour is perfect for the whole family, with little ones as young as four years old are welcome aboard! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the magnificent beauty of the Canadian wilderness around you while our knowledgeable river guides interpret the local flora and fauna and share stories of this wild landscape and its local history. Located just east of Banff National Park, the Bow River offers excellent opportunities to view beaver, elk, osprey, as well as eagles, and more wonderful native creatures.

Town Float Tour
Explore the town of Canmore on this 1 hour tour and get a unique chance to view the incredible wildlife from the water. See if you can spot a mother elk together with her calf drinking at the water’s edge, or an Osprey overhead on the hunt for its dinner.
Marvel in the beauty of the surrounding peaks of the Three Sisters, Miner’s Peak, and East End of Rundle. Then take a look behind you to the west and you’ll see the impressive Cascade Mountain!
Dead Man’s Flats Tour
Float through the serene channels from Canmore to Dead Man’s Flats on this 1.5 hour tour for an incredibly unique wildlife experience. Bask in the striking, alpine lighting and enjoy picture-perfect views of the Three Sisters and Pigeon Mountain.
As there is increased animal activity at this hour, you’re sure to spot beaver out and about and maybe even some bears and deer on the banks of this placid section of the Bow River.
