On a Quest for Adventure…
There is truly no place in the world quite like the majestic landscapes of Alberta’s Rockies.

From the tumbling rapids of the rivers to the expansive peaks surrounding them, we’re passionate about exploring every inch of this magical place.

Canadian Rockies Rafting was established all those years ago with the goal of making the Canadian great outdoors more accessible to more people, and that is what we still do to this day.
We’re eager to share our local knowledge and insider tips while showing you the many incredible landscapes and wildlife, so that you will experience the Canadian Rockies to the fullest.
… and Good Times!

As adventure-obsessed people (we eat, sleep, and breathe adventure), we take having a good time seriously. We’re all about having fun, being a bit silly, and making sure everyone on our rafts is having an absolute blast!

Our highly-trained guides are known as the most experienced, friendliest, and most entertaining crew on the river, so you’re guaranteed to enjoy a tour with many belly laughs along the way! We absolutely love what we do, and getting to share the experience of Canada’s incredible beauty with our visitors makes it all the more special.

Scott

Co-Owner & Director of Operations

Originally from Scotland, I’ve always loved and lived adventure. From Scouts to competitive mountain bike racing, I’ve had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and adventure sports. At uni, I completed an Outdoor Education and Sports Development diploma. That course allowed me to explore everything from skiing to rock climbing, kayaking to whitewater rafting.

I was given the opportunity to come to Canada in November 2014 to work as a ski instructor at Lake Louise Ski Resort. Thinking I was only going to be here for the winter, when I saw a chance to be a raft guide with Canadian Rockies Rafting I jumped at the opportunity. 8 years later, I’m not only an instructor and course conductor, I’m now co-owner of Canadian Rockies Rafting too! I’m excited to provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone to have a chance at adventure and fun: to be able to check off a bucket list item, be a part of a celebration, or enjoy a day trip getaway.
Canadian Rockies Rafting is here to provide an experience our rafters will never forget (for all the right reasons!)

Co-Owner & Director of Operations

I’ve been guiding on rivers for over 10 years now, My first experience was in Scotland through an outdoor college programme: I was hooked! I then went on to complete my degree in outdoor education at a University in England. From there I’ve been jumping between raft guiding in the summers and ski coaching in the winters at Lake Louise along with some paramedic work in BC!

I've spent my last 8 summers working at Canadian Rockies Rafting, working my way up from guide, to River Manager and now Owner! Im so stoked to be able to working with an amazing staff team doing something I love in the place I love!

From the staff we employ to the guests we get to share new experiences with, there is something new and amazing everyday.

I am so grateful to call Canada and Canadian Rockies Rafting home!

Marketing Manager

Originally from Ontario, I’ve always had a bug for adventure whether it was biking, swimming, hiking, camping, or traveling. Traveling has taken me to some incredible places including: the Amazon Rainforest to spend time with a local tribe; to Africa to see some of the most amazing animals on the planet; and to Indonesia to experience a different culture and hang with the locals.

I’ve always been on the go, meeting new people and experiencing anything and everything: just doing cool shit. With this passion for adventure, it only made sense for me to find a job that allowed me to be outside, have new experiences, and give me freedom to be creative within my role.
Working with Canadian Rockies Rafting gave me just that. I love being able to meet new people; hear and share new experiences and be able to help facilitate new experiences for others.

River Manager

Hi, I’m Mic, the River Manager and I’m excited for my seventh season with Canadian Rockies Rafting! I’m originally from Camrose, Alberta and started my career in the adventure industry at Thompson Rivers University in the Adventure Guide Program. Since graduating, I’ve enjoyed leading raft expeditions on the Nahanni River and guiding dog sled tours. I’ve recently expanded into instructing wilderness first aid and Whitewater rafting courses. In the winter I work as a ski patroller at Sunshine Village in Banff.

I am a Wilderness First Aid Responder, certified Emergency Medical Responder, Level 4 Swiftwater Rescue Technician, International Rafting Federation guide, trip leader, and safety kayaker. I love being able to share the exciting sport of Whitewater rafting and the beautiful wilderness of the Bow Valley through guiding and I’m stoked for the upcoming season!
